NSI Fire Gold & BAFE Accreditation
Certificate No: 50325 BAFE Registration No: NSI00355
Following a rigorous assessment, Scottish Security & Fire Systems has been awarded the prestigious BAFE (British Approvals for Fire Equipment) & NSI Gold Fire accreditation on the 19th march
2013.
The BAFE accreditation, the very highest in the industry, is recognised and endorsed by all the major regulatory and enforcement bodies, including Government departments, fire authorities, insurance
companies and the Health and Safety Executive.
All the companies existing quality procedures were re-assessed to incorporate fire and insurances enhanced as required.
Training was carried out for all our engineers on BS5839-1-2002 (+ A2 2008) courses. Additionally, engineers have received training on the FIA fire maintenance course as well as various manufacturer
courses.
Scottish Security & Fire Systems are now proud to display the BAFE NSI Gold (British Approvals for Fire Equipment) logo, which tells prospective & existing clients that we have demonstrated
our level of competence in fire by adopting this well respected 3rd party accreditation scheme.
Harry Meldrum, Managing Director, said that as BAFE-accreditation was the industry benchmark it would give customers peace of mind that they were receiving the very best service.
"Clients can be sure that their fire equipment is being installed and maintained to the highest possible standard by using a BAFE-accredited company like Scottish Security & Fire Systems."
Harry added, that in today’s commercial environment, with increased emphasis on responsibility and self-assessment, having BAFE accreditation was also a valuable commercial asset.
"It gives Scottish Security & Fire Systems an additional visible level of professional competence which sets us apart from many of our competitors and gives our existing customers and future
clients the peace of mind that they are buying from a reputable company which has achieved the highest benchmark possible."
Choosing fire protection from a BAFE registered firm means you know that its products and services conform to rigorous standards and, with the increasing responsibility for safety falling on the
owner/occupier, it is more important than ever that the quality of fire protection is fit for purpose and installed and maintained by competent people.
